FERAL Limited Warranty (USA only)

We take our warranty seriously and all claims will be reviewed by Alex & Buzz. We will always honor all legitimate warranty claims. At the same time, after nearly a decade of business it's pretty easy for us to tell if you are trying to pass off a fin cut for a manufacturing defect—please consider whether or not you truly believe it is a defect. Be prepared to supply photos and for the chance that we may receive the suit and reject the warranty claim at our sole discretion.

If the product is found to be defective under normal use and proper care, FERAL Surfing will repair the product at our discretion within 365 days from product shipping date. The decision to repair a product is made by FERAL Surfing upon receipt of the defective product. Defective product should be returned clean and dry, postage prepaid, with a completed repair form we will send you. The repair form should include product description, product defects, requested action, return address, daytime phone number with area code, customer’s name and a copy of the purchase receipt sent to FERAL Surfing. Suits without a copy of the purchase receipt will NOT be covered. We reserve the right to deduct a $20 cleaning fee for improperly cleaned and/or dried suits.

The following will not be covered under our limited warranty policy: UV or sunlight wear and fading, alteration, materials over 365 days, repairs or alterations done by anyone other than FERAL, cuts in the suit from sharp objects, slices in the suit from opening the shipping box with a blade or scissors, damage to the inside ankle area from incorrect or over stretching of the suit when pushing the feet through the suit or catching toe and/or finger nails, damage from washing machine or dryer, premature wear due to using the suit for activities other than surfing waves in the ocean (the suit is designed for normal surfing and built to withstand the demands of that sport only), damage to the internal taping from wear and tear, damage from improper storage or hanging, damage from Velcro leash rope, damage to zipper from forcefully getting in or out of the suit including but not limited to: slider coming off of zipper teeth, broken zipper teeth, broken slider and broken zipper pull. We run our company with integrity and we expect the same in return from our customers.

We will cover a shark attack, with proper documentation, if you are unfortunate enough to be a victim :(

Our warranty does not apply to apparel—wear our T-shirts at your own risk :)


There are two actual human beings running this company and reading all of your emails, so we reserve the right to void your warranty/return if you're a d*ck in your correspondence. We want you to be stoked and will do our best to solve any problems, but, again, not if you're a d*ck. Alternatively, we also created these policies and have the ability to bend the rules in certain circumstances—and occasionally do so for our kind, considerate, honest, and patient customers :)
